Who We Are
The Maywood Tennis Association is a nonprofit volunteer organization . We work with youth in the community, teaching them the game of tennis and helping them to pursue success both on and off the courts. We have worked with the Tennis and
Fitness Centre in Oak Park. We also work with the Oak Park Tennis Center, a clay court facility in River Forest. Our partnerships enable us to provide greater opportunities for the kids. In 2016, over 90 children participated in the MTA summer tennis clinic. MTA sponsored 12 of the more advanced kids for additional group and private lessons.
We use tennis to build character, integrity and strong social values in our youth. We teach them valuable life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, honesty, respect for others and self-confidence. The MTA board and membership thanks you in advance for your support of our efforts
